The only new member has been Shinningkit, more commonly known as ‘Shiny’ or ‘Kevin’, and, well, since she is the admin of the board, she doesn’t really count. = P Hopefully we’ll be getting new members soon!
‘Shiny’ redid the entire board, made the character origins, wrote the rules, created the histories, and pretty much did everything you see here. Can I get a Whoop Whoop? =3

There aren’t any members yet, so, there fore, no characters have been added! If you are unsure of how to create a character, see the ‘How To’ board.
.:Roleplay Updates
Roleplay rules, ‘How To’ area has been listed, a list of useable character origins, a Character Sheet to create your character, and a page of available Subplots have all been added. A Main Plot Line page has also been added, that way everybody can know what’s going on. =D
Not many Culture/History pages have been listed yet, but if you go to DragonAge Wikia, they have every thing you’ll want to know.

Welcome to EmeraldRising, or as we sometimes lazily say, ER. EmeraldRising is a Dragon Age Roleplay Board, filled with Grey Wardens, Apostates, Lamp Posts, the Chantry, and, of course, Darkspawn. It’s set about 50 years in the future, so the characters from the game will not be showing up.

You can roleplay as a Dwarf, Elf, or Human from a variety of backgrounds, and your character is also given the chance to join the Grey Wardens! But danger lurks around every corner, and not everyone will survive…
Are you up to the challenge?
Half a century ago, the Fifth Blight threatened the world. The nation of Ferelden, torn apart by civil war, deception, and betrayel, rose up to conquer the evil Darkspawn. Overcoming great odds, the people of Ferelden united under one common banner and defeated the Archdemon. Led by the Grey Warden Aedan Cousland, Dwarves, Elves, and Humans all put aside their differences and emerged victorious. Even when the Darkspawn were not driven back underground, the united armies of Ferelden were able to come together and defeat the Darkspawn threat once more.
Now, the Heros of Ferelden are gone, and the Darkspawn have begun to crawl back onto the surface in the beginning of another blight. Ferelden is once again in a state of chaos, terrorized by the evil that lays in the shadows of all hearts. The Qunari are invading the northern shores of Highever, the Elves of Revas are regarded as monsters, and the Chantry continues to grow more powerful and obstinate with each passing day. Just as before, the Grey Wardens are treated with disdain and mistrust, and their order is weak and broken in Ferelden. Will they be able to defeat the Darkspawn?

The Board has been remodeled! This is now a Dragon Age Roleplaying board, set years after the Fifth Blight. The Heros of Legend are long gone, leaving the way for others to follow in their mighty footsteps. You, my friends, will be those others.
The board is need of someone to make a banner for us! Shiny can do it, but at the moment she is busy with writing things, not to mention her tablet won’t work on her crappy laptop and the computer her scanner is connected to crashed and died and hasn’t been the same since. So, anyone willing to help out would be greatly appreciated. =)
The Old Boards and Characters have been moved to “Roleplays of Old”. I deleted the old Spirit Board as well. I’m sorry if you were keeping that for reference, but it’s been over a year. I doubt you want it.
If you aren’t sure about anything, feel free to ask Shiny, the Admin. She’ll be glad to help. =)
